If you want detailed help on using the Logo language, click the Help icon. To learn what individual icons do, shift-click on them.
To separate two separate commands that are on one line, place a semicolon between the two commands. Sorry, but this limitation was implemented mainly as a compromise due to the slow operating speed of HyperCard. This is the only difference I know of between the original Logo and this version (besides, of course, improvements).
There is one hitch running Logo. If the memory partitions of HyperCard are set below about 1500K, HyperCard will start 'forgetting' some of Logo's important variables, causing sporadic errors. This is not a bug in Logo and cannot be corrected. I recommend about 1700K for HyperCard. This provides adequate speed and performance without drastic memory usage.
A minor bug was fixed in Logo 2.1.1. Now, all items shift-clicked will give you help on what they do. Before, a few minor icons omitted this detail, ignoring the shift key. Not only that, but some page-sizing icons work better now.
Also, I suggest using HyperCard 2.1, although any version that is 2.0 or above will work. I am not sure how well Logo will work with HyperCard Player, because it needs access to "User Level 5."
Have fun with Logo! And don't forget to register your copy. So far, I have only had one registration -- thanks, Steve H.!
